“What a Difference!”
In September, regular classes for children with special needs will open at the Center. The funds raised will go towards soundproofing, desks, school boards, and gym equipment.
Why “What difference does it make!”

Our name is more than just a name – it’s our message to the world!
“What difference does age make?
What difference does it make where you’re from?
What difference does it make why it happened?”
But there are questions we will never ignore.
How to be heard and understood?
How to be kind and not hurt others?
How can we help?
A child is a little adult with their own special life. And everyone should have such a life.
And what difference does it make why you came to us — we are happy and will do everything to make everyone feel needed and valued!
Center History
In 2019, an initiative group created the first free weekend camp for families with children with developmental differences. Kids gained new experiences, made friends, and parents had time to rest. This camp is still held once a month.

In October 2019, we launched trial workshops twice a week for 4 hours. Children learned crafts, how to interact and play with each other.

During the pandemic, we started a volunteer service and visited families at home, playing with kids and giving parents time to work or shop.
Later, the Center operated from our partner Pavel’s apartment, and then we rented a space in a children's center, holding workshops 4 times a week.
Now we rent our own space. Since January 2021, we’ve been actively working there. Over 80 families visit us regularly.

We’ve opened new directions:
- robotics
- morning classes
- evening workshops
- weekend camp
- individual sessions (speech therapist, special educator, APE)
- parent events (stretching, yoga, massage, sessions with a psychologist)

In September we launch regular group enrollment. A chance for children not accepted in city schools. Here they’ll learn through play, gain academic and social skills. Parents can return to work.

We’re forming 3 groups:
- children 2–5 years old (kindergarten style);
- children 6–7 years old (school prep);
- teens who study at home.
Work will be individualized based on each child's needs. Focus on communication, life skills, and self-care.
To open regular classes, we need your help.
Funds raised will go to:
1. Soundproofing a classroom and gym – 200,000 euro
2. Furniture (desks, chairs, boards, storage cabinets) – 100,000 euro
3. Gym equipment (hammocks) – 100,000 euro
TOTAL: 400,000 euro
If we raise more than 100%, we’ll buy a color printer and sensory room equipment.
We would be happy to receive any support!
