OM2OM is an online platform for mutual aid and solidarity in Moldova.
On Om2om.md, you can:
- create a project and gather support;
- support someone else's project with money, goods, or participation (volunteering);
- communicate with authors and other participants directly.
Types of projects on the platform:
- Financial assistance – fundraising (with or without rewards).
- Material assistance – collecting items/resources (with or without rewards).
- Physical assistance – finding volunteers/participants (with or without rewards).
- Providing assistance – projects where the author/organization provides assistance to others.
Why should Om2om users?
To easily and safely:
- support important initiatives (one-time or regular);
- receive rewards for participation (if the project provides them);
- find projects that really need help;
- be part of a community where people help each other transparently.
Why should project creators use OM2OM?
OM2OM helps creators:

Projects can be posted not only by individuals, but also by teams, companies, NGOs, and (within the law) government agencies.

What projects can I launch on Om2om?
The following projects can I launch:
- creative and cultural (music, film, books, design, games);
- technological and business projects (startups, products, apps);
- social initiatives (city, ecology, communities);
- charity projects (according to category rules).
The project must be:
- legal;
- clear and transparent in its goals and budget;
- safe;
- free from manipulation and fraud.

What projects do we not accept?
We operate strictly within the laws of the Republic of Moldova and the platform's rules. The following projects are not published:
- political;
- violating the law, human rights, or safety regulations;
- containing calls for dangerous actions or self- or mutual harm;
- related to drugs, gambling, or other prohibited content;
- containing pornography or offensive materials;
- aimed solely at personal goals without a social or creative component;
- the purpose of which is Fundraising solely for advertising/promotion;
- which have already been posted on other crowdfunding platforms;
- for treatment and medical interventions (treatment, surgeries, fundraising for therapy, etc.).
The platform reserves the right to refuse publication or terminate a project at any stage if it does not comply with the rules or the law.
Before launch, the author signs an agreement with the platform, which specifies:
- Project name;
- Goal and amount (for financial projects);
- Transfer details and terms;
- Author's reporting and communication responsibilities.
Documents by author type:
- Legal entity: certified copies of registration documents.
- Sole proprietor: certified copies of certificates/registrations.
- Individual (resident): copy of passport + TIN (if applicable).
- Individual (non-resident): copies of passport (main pages + registration), translation into Russian, notarization (if necessary, according to the platform procedure).
Rules of Conduct on the Platform
OM2OM is a space of respect and safety.
Prohibited:
- insults, humiliation, bullying;
- publishing materials that violate the rights of others;
- threats, blackmail, discrimination, incitement to hatred;
- misleading users.
Violations may result in access to the platform being restricted.
What are the project categories?
A project selects a type (financial / material / physical assistance / provide assistance) and category (subject).

What do I need to launch a project in the "Charity" category?
These rules apply to financial projects in the "Charity" category.
Who can post - specialized non-profit organizations that:
- have been officially operating for more than 2 years;
- publish activity reports.
Goals: helping children/adults in difficult situations, the elderly, shelters, nature, disaster relief, etc.
Conditions:
- funds are transferred to the organization's account;
- the project can be extended multiple times;
- commission: 5.9% (to cover operating costs and payment infrastructure).
NPO validation: typically 5-14 days.
You will need the organization's documents, bank details, and links to your website/social media/publications.
Creating and publishing a project on the Om2om website is free. Upon successful completion, the Platform only charges a service fee.
What percentage does Om2om charge for projects?
There is no commission for creating projects of the "Material Aid," "Physical Aid," and "Providing Aid" types.
The total commission of Om2om and payment aggregators for "Financial Aid" projects is: is:
- 10% of the funds raised if the amount raised is 100% or more of the stated financial goal.
- 15% of the funds raised if the amount raised is between 50% and 99.9% of the stated financial goal.
- 0% if the project has not raised at least 50% of the stated financial goal (the project is considered unsuccessful).
- 5.9% of the funds raised if the project is placed in the "Charity" category (regardless of the financial goal).
IMPORTANT! The platform commission does not include taxes levied on individuals and legal entities.
The Project Organizer is obligated to independently calculate and pay all taxes related to income or profit.
If the Project Organizer is an individual, tax information is available in the Tax Code of the Republic of Moldova, under the chapter "Personal Income Tax."
The amount and type of tax paid by a legal entity or individual entrepreneur depends on the tax system. All tax calculations and payments are carried out independently.
What is considered a successful project?
What is important to know when raising funds for the "Financial Aid" project
- If your project has raised 50% or more of its stated amount... It is considered successful.
- All funds are transferred to the project author minus the commission.
- If the project has raised less than 50%, it is considered unsuccessful.
- All funds are returned to fundraiser participants in their personal wallets on the platform.
- The project author does NOT pay any commission.
- For projects in the "Charity" category:
- They can be extended an unlimited number of times until the required amount is raised.
- The lowest commission is Only 5.9%!
Important to remember!
- Even if your project is successful, taxes are calculated separately.
- If you're unsure, check the tax regulations for individuals or organizations in your country.

Projects on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity
Projects related to sexual orientation and gender identity are allowed on the platform, provided they comply with the current legislation of the Republic of Moldova.
These topics are not prohibited, and such projects may be published under general conditions. However, they usually receive age restrictions, as many platform users are minors.
According to Moldovan law, the "promotion of non-traditional sexual relationships" among minors is prohibited. Therefore, project content must not include elements that could be interpreted as such.
Promotion may include presenting content in a way that actively engages the audience, exaggerates positive aspects, or manipulates opinions, potentially diverting attention from real issues or serving specific interests.
Additionally, a project may be rejected if its goals or presentation of information create conflict between different social perspectives on sexual orientation or gender identity. This includes attempts to provoke public debates that could lead to restriction of rights or discrimination. Such discussions violate platform rules, which prohibit inciting hatred based on SOGI (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity) or any other social differences. Similar restrictions apply to projects related to political and religious topics.
What projects don't we publish?
At Om2om, we want projects to be safe and useful for everyone. Therefore, there are certain topics that cannot be posted on the platform.
What is prohibited?
We do not publish projects if they contain:
- Dangerous challenges and calls to risk (for example, anything that could harm health or life).
- Drugs, alcohol, gambling (or anything that promotes them).
- Cruelty and violence (including scenes or descriptions of violence).
- Pornography and obscene materials.
- Topics related to non-traditional sexual relations (including anything that could violate the law of the Republic of Moldova).
- Data on minors who have become victims of crimes.
If a project contains anything from this list, it will not be published. Published.
We comply with the laws of the Republic of Moldova, which protect children from harmful information.

How do I create a project on OM2OM?
- Go to the "Create a Project" section.
- Select the project type: financial / material / physical aid / provide assistance.
- Fill in the fields, add photos/videos.
- Add rewards (if your project includes them).
- Submit for review.
Moderation time: usually up to 3 business days. For charity projects - Up to 3-14 business days.

How to make a project description clear and compelling?
Recommended structure:
- Short, clear title;
- Who are you (author/team) + evidence (photos/videos/links);
- Project goal and why is it needed;
- Action plan and what funds/items/assistance will be used for;
- Deadlines and milestones;
- Rewards and conditions for receiving them (if any);
- How will you report?
Important: Upon completion of the project, the author is required to submit a report.
What rewards can I offer?
Rewards are This is a thank you to the participants for their support of the project.
You can:
- Goods/merch, project products, kits;
- Personal thanks, mentions;
- Meetings, consultations, excursions;
- Behind the scenes, participation in the creation process;
- Access to restricted content/chat.
You cannot offer:
- Alcohol and tobacco;
- Perishable foods;
- Jewelry;
- Money and financial promises;
- Goods/services requiring special licenses (if prohibited by the platform rules).
How does Om2om work with government agencies?
Om2om actively collaborates with government agencies and helps them implement projects related to various government programs. We support the initiatives of municipal organizations, allowing them to publish their projects on the platform and raise funds for their implementation.
If law enforcement agencies or other government agencies require information, the platform is always ready to provide all requested information in accordance with the law.
Local authorities from villages and districts can also publish their projects on Om2om. For example, municipal cultural and sports organizations They can raise funds for:
- Repairs to cultural centers or gyms.
- Organizing local festivals and events.
- Supporting sports teams and competitors.
- Creating and upgrading public parks and recreation areas.

Yes, you can:

- Ask the author a question using the "Ask a Question" button or in the comments;

Rewards: How does it work?
If the project offers rewards:
- Select a reward on the project page;
- Click "Buy" and fill in the details (delivery/size/recipient);
- Pay;
- The order will appear in your account, and you will receive a confirmation email.
Rewards are sent upon successful completion of the project and the author's readiness for collection/shipment.
Can I participate anonymously?
Yes. When supporting a financial project, you can select the "Support anonymously" option (if available in the project interface).
You can also provide a nickname during registration.
Important: Recipient information is required for reward delivery (another recipient can be provided by mutual agreement).
How do I top up my balance in my account?
- Personal Account → «Balance»
- «Top up your balance»
- Select a payment method and amount
- Funds are usually credited within a few minutes.
If excess funds have been debited or an error occurs, please contact support@om2om.md.
How to pay on OM2OM?
Supported payment solutions (approximately according to the list you provided):
- MAIB
- RunPay
- PayNet
- Qiwi (if enabled on the platform).
Paying by card:
- VISA / MasterCard (with 3-D Secure support)
- When confirming a payment, the bank may request an SMS code.
If the payment fails:
- Clear your cache/cookies, try a different browser;
- Take a screenshot of the error and write it in support@om2om.md.
How do I receive a reward and where can I check the status?
The order status is displayed in the order card in your personal account.
Typical statuses:
- "New"
- "Awaiting payment for delivery" (if delivery is charged separately according to the project rules)
- "Shipped"
- "Delivered"
- "Ready for pickup"
- "Cancelled" (if the project is unsuccessful)
- "Return" (if the expiration date has expired)

Refunds
If the project hasn't yet been completed: you can cancel the purchase in "My Orders" (if available).
If the project hasn't reached 50% of the goal: the project is considered unsuccessful, and the money is returned to participants according to the platform rules (usually to the wallet/account from which the payment was made).
How to request a refund:
- through your personal account: "Wallet" > "Withdraw Money" (fastest option);
- if it doesn't work out: Request a return to support@om2om.md (with your details, order number, and bank details).
Returns may take up to 10 business days after confirmation.
Who can see my support amount?
The amount can be seen by:
- you;
- the project author;
- the platform administration (for monitoring and reporting).
Can I change the amount or choose a different reward?
If you need to change the details, please write to support@om2om.md before the end of the project (and include the order/project number).
Where can I view my payment and order history?
In your personal account: "Payments" / "My orders" (depending on the interface).
Is my support taxable?
- The platform does not provide individual tax advice.
- If you are an individual and simply support a project, this is usually interpreted as support/purchase of a reward, but tax nuances depend on the participant's status and the project's terms.
- If you need to be precise, it's best to check with an accountant/tax consultant.
Special projects
What are special projects on OM2OM?
Special projects are campaigns for businesses, brands, and organizations with special terms: pre-orders, product launches, corporate initiatives, social campaigns, or charity campaigns with partners.
Why is it beneficial for a brand to launch a special project?
A special project helps:
- increase awareness;
- test demand before a large-scale launch;
- acquire first clients and ambassadors;
- build loyalty through audience participation;
- launch CSR/social programs with a clear impact.
How much does it cost to develop a special project?
The starting price for developing a special project is $500. The final cost depends on:
- the complexity of the mechanics;
- the timeframe;
- the volume of promotion;
- the level of integration and content.
I want to create a special project. What should I do?
Write to office@om2om.md and describe the task, product/initiative, and desired format. We will suggest the mechanics and launch plan.
Is it possible to collaborate without commercial investment?
Yes.
The following formats are possible:

"Providing Help" are projects where the author, company, or organization doesn't collect, but provides assistance: in the form of money, goods, resources, or actions.

How do I create a "Material Aid" project to help?

How do I create a Physical Support project, including volunteering or other activities?

2% income tax for charity (Moldova)
